Had to get a different digging tool!!!!

I use to dig a plug apx 3-4 inches down and retrieve the coin. Ever since getting the E-trac I have had to dig a lot deeper. Ended up using the Raptor and still go down deeper than it. Have found more silver this year than in many many previous years. Found 3 silver dimes in one hole over the week-end. Last week-end found 18 dimes while hunting sat. & Sun. This year close to 20.00 in silver and usually go on the average 1 time a week.. Coils that I have are the original, 8 in sunray, 5 inch sunray, Joey coil. and have on the way is the wot. Me and a dealer have tested signals before digging with other detectors and they did not do well compared to the ET.. Some of the targets did not even register on the brand x detector.. Not going to bad mouth but it sure convinced me. After digging found a token in one hole and silver coins in the other or a wheat penny..Really do not know what it is about the ET ,but it certainly does the job..Just thought I would share my experiences. PS do not find many nickels as I usually catch myself listening for the hi tones of silver. Nickels do come into play if you are looking for them ,I just do not pay that much attention to lower tones.. I realize might be passing up gold, but find that in the water with the cz20. ha HH

I had to go to a bigger digger myself. I find myself amazed at the depth I am recovering coins, and thats not easy to do since I've been detector for some 30 years and used many many top of the line detectors.

Good stuff Sonny !
I really like the Predator T-Handle shovel.
This shovel was $59.95 + shipping from Kellyco - but it fits in my backpack, digs through just about anything and seems like it will last forever !
Cheap tools are a waste of time !

Also, I really enjoyed talking with you about E-Trac's on the phone last month - thanks for all the info. and the great detecting stories !
I've only had my ET for a few weeks now - LOVE IT !!!
