Nice job Bryce. Hearing stories such as yours keeps my hope up in the park I've been hitting. Really goes to show, in reality, that it takes quite a few swings on every inch of the soil in different directions and in different soil conditions (wet/dry) before a site can be ruled "hunted out". In that case, most of us that say a site is hunted out are only fooling ourselves.
My current park that yielded a Barber and Merc my first time there (30 min hunt), has yielded only 7 or so wheats since then. The problem is the deep iron falsing I'm getting. All of them have the depth meter pegged and most of them have my smartfind cursor staying in the top left side, but a few bounce over to the right. On the good bounce signals; once I open the hole, the signal disappears.
Enough about my problems. Sad to see your hunting season coming to a close just as ours is improving. Can't wait to see you back in action.
