Half dime or just a nickel:detecting:

Went back to my old fairgrounds this am. Last 2 outings there no coins, Really depressing. I've been going down 1 row & coming back the next and repeating it & when I'm done mark my row I finished on for next hunt. About 4 rows a day is all I can handle. The last couple hunts there hasn't been much trash & no coins. but I'm going to take it row by row till I cover the whole field. Hope I get it done by the time we leave for Texas for the winter.Anyway started down 1st row, hardly any trash, about half way down, got a loud signal. Sounded like a penny.cursor was a little higher than a penny, numbers were 7 26 When I flipped the plug over & found silver I was suprised. Thought I had a half dime After getting some water on it I seen it was Canadain.. Next row I got a injun 3rd row another injun last row a homemade ring. I've found 3 of them in that field. When Igot home I looked up my coin Its called a nickel, but 92% silver. so it counts. HH everyone

Those little critters are nearly impossible to find because they're so tiny.

Nice dig...as well as the rest of the finds.

Congrats on finding a fish-scale, Stubbs!! You're right....those coppers sure do take a beating in that field!:yikes:
