Harold, In your Plat Map Tutorial you refer to BLM Township,Range and Section Viewer and a post you made to download that viewer, I cant find that post.
Also, would that be something you would only be able to use for your area of the country???
I have been using the link you provided for old plats that give the township ranges, example 5N 10E. Ive downloaded the screen capture tool and would love to learn how to capture some of these plats and overlay them on google earth.
I have read your tutorials and it seems youve made it so simple that someone like me could do it, so I wanna give it a whirl.
But, Im assuming I need the BLM Viewer to first apply to Google Earth, then I can apply my captured immage on top of that??
Thanks,
John

Ok, I found the post. Funny, I did a search and came up empty handed,go tell, lol.
Thanks,
John

You dont need the BLM viewer to overlay images, its just to locate areas if you dont know where they are.
They have to give you five moves for free,so if it quits working, just delete it in you my places section, and then download it and double click it again to get five more moves.
The capture tool i use to just get parts of a map,Just like cropping a picture.
