General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Has anyone tried the new 13" DD Detech coil for E-Trac?

well i paid 34 days ago and nothing here guess i will give it a week then file a pay pal dispute , what a bummer will just wonder if it is any good i guess
 
I ordered and payed for mine on 2-16 and was told to expect delivery between 3-5 and 3-21. I guess that would be 18-34 days. I have the tracking info and the last entry was on 2-20 it stated i "insert item into bag" whatever that means and the place was Bulgaria. The joys of dealing overseas and I'm sure he shipped it the cheapest method. good Luck.
 
YEah i am at 34 now and no update , you have 45 days to file a claim at pay pal so i will give it time i am sure he mailed it but it is 220 bucks
 
shipping is cheap so must be coming by ship mine is in bag too :sadwalk:

"Insert item into bag" means the shipment is leaving Bulgaria. I've ordered two coils from the same guy and it does take rather long for the items to arrive, even though he sends them right away... and I live in Europe.
 
wow, its funny if you take people on the long trip it costs more and parcels if you want the long trip its costs less who works that out?

well i emailed the seller and he got right back to me , he had a tracking # but i dont know who it is with. maybe the bulgarian postal service is broke like the united states ps. he said it shows in the states now. at least he got right back with me , seemed professional
 
so you should have it this week yeh harh !!

pretty sure that is the main man there we are buying off on ebay.

Yup his ebay feedback is good so I don't expect any problems. My coil from the Ukranian took about 20 days and obviously this one will take longer. It would be nice to know which tracking site will show where the coil is. The tracking number and site he sent me only shows 4 lines of activity with the last one being "in the bag"......like everyone else. Patience is a tough thing :)

this is what USPS said "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" which probably doesn't mean much have seen that and it showed up on my door because its not high priority they don't scan it just deliver it :blink: hang in there man it will show up :biggrin: we are all in the same boat with this stuff.

yeah i went out of town this week to stlouis for work and got home and i am swamped for a week or so i cant get out anyway. it is 65-70 all week again , the most weird winter ever here , 50 -55 -60 sunny everyday . i did carry my etrac and got in 4 hrs in wednesday and found 4 silver coins and 5 wheats . we dont have alot here and you have to scratch for silver. to be honest my ukranian coil is working well for me , so i dont know if i will even keep this detech ,or keep the tornado , i dont think i wll keep both . it just took me a few weeks to adjust to that big coil ,and i still have to careful pinpointing . if the ground is halfway clean the sky is the limit . but if there is any iron it is a job
 
Those of you waiting on delivery - I can at least say the guy running things is legit and a nice guy. It took mine a few weeks to arrive but I'm just in Germany. The shipments often get held up in customs.

Anyway, I rant the coil again for a few hours around a week ago. It is not meant for trashy or iron filled spots. It does work ok there but it's hard to filter all the signals hitting the bigger coil is all I'm saying. It has excellent separation for it's size.

I will hold off on using it again until I can hunt a spot with less trash/iron (or find a less trashy part of the spot I'm currently hunting). The weight is nice, that is for sure. The coil we can't talk about is noticeably heavier - Detech has it beat hands down on weight. HUGE advantage imo.

yes thats top weather bummer about the work :unsure: at least you picked up some goodies last time out keep you going till the next hunt ? :biggrin:

oh yes that other big coil sounds interesting better not say to much hey :rant: but sounds like your getting the hang of it :biggrin:

EMS Glad to hear it is working for you and lighter the %%%% coil. I bought mine for all the old colonial fields i will be hunting this year and need depth, hoping it will go deeper then my Pro coil.
