Have you seen this?

I posted this in "Today's Finds" as part of the items recovered this afternoon. My site saw small skirmishes with Union and Confederate troops. As there were no other identifiers--I was wondering if anyone has seen anything similar to this piece. I am not sure if the ragged brass pieces are part of this "Eagle", as they were found about 10 feet apart.

It resembles a wax seal but looks too thin .
