Went out yesterday to the Baseball Field and pulled out two silver rings. One Nice one with an English kind of theme, and an old school silver ring with copper and stone inlays. Both were about 7 or 8 inches deep. I stopped by a little grassy area outside a strip mall tonight, It was about midnight and the parking lot lights were lighting things up pretty nicely. I pulled in, and pulled out the Etrac and started swinging. A minute into the hunt the guy from the hot dog stand comes over and asked if I was finding anything. I said I am hoping to find some silver or gold. I passed over a few zinc pennies and some foil. Then a solid 12-48 signal. I said "Oh Yeah"! He said What is it. I said "Silver" I I am taking this one home. I dug the plug and told him I was going to drive it home and let my wife pull it out of the plug. I have been trying to get her into detecting with me but she never will go. I lived just a half mile away so I headed home. I came in with a lump of sod. My wife wasnt impressed when I told her I wanted her to pull the item out of the plug. She didnt want a thing to do with it so I started pulling the plug apart and then got to the ring. She was a little exited but not like i was. I was sure the fun of seeing a nice ring come out of the ground in the comfort of her own home would sell her on detecting. No such luck. It was worth a try I guess. It is the ring on the keyboard in the pics. I headed back to the strip mall and showed the hot dog man the ring and he was wanting to see if I could find something else. I dug a few more coins and then got a nice steady signal, I dont remember what it was though. It turned out to be a Heads I win tails you loose token. I think I have seen them on the forums before. I am at 5 Silver for the month of February and one copper ring. I also have now dug two tokens. I have been using a very tight disc pattern and have been doing real well with it. I will post it after I make a few changes. Idigid
