Hello Ben

Been MDing a new spot recently near an old oak tree that they claim is nearly 500 yrs old. Haven't found any old silver yet. here's a few finds from the last 6 hunts. My 1st Franklin Half Dollar. Also found 1903,05 & 07 IH, Buffalo.

Any silver is good day,you had a great day, more silver than I have found this year,I have found 3 dimes this year, getting tough out there. Thanks for sharing.

Metal, great finds and they all look to have good detail. A Franklin is on my wishlish. Do you happen to remember what it's tid was?

Yeah believe it or not it was reading a 37 with high tone, running in All Metal Mode, Low Trash Density setting. I was very surprised to see the Franklin with a 37 TID. It was only about 4" deep. I even read it after I took it out & it still read 37.

Yeah, I believe it. It seems big silver (halves, dollars) do not tid at 38-39 as would be expected with 90% silver. Try air testing that Ben, curious if it reads the letter 'i" in silver on the control panel graph bar as most of my older silver coins do?

Good job!

Sweet!
Thanks for the pix,
Bunker
