3 Hours on Henley Beach this morning. The phone was in a "coin trough" out in the wet sand at low tide... quite deep 10" + and totally stuffed lol.

Big surf life saving carnival happening just up the beach all day. Gonna hit it very early tomorrow morning. Watch this space.

Finally got 2.5 hours at the spot were all the people were on the weekend. Really only did 25% of the area and not carefully. Total $21.90 and the necklace. Also a nice brass hose fitting worth about $8 in the shops LOL

Oh and 2 of these but we havnt seen them for a long time in Australia. Great news because it also tells us that this stretch hasnt been done in a dogs age. Guess where I will be on the weekend.

Well we might not have the same collection of old coins on beaches (least not that I have found) that you guys have. But when your top denomination is $2 and an early 1900's sixpence is worth $1.25 on average...Its hard to be upset about finding modern coins.
