g'day all, with the e trac if i put it in high trash, what is it going to let me find?i understand the other preset modes, but, in the instructional manual and andies,it doesn't say anything about this mode.does it rule out all the nasties and leave the goodies,or what?where would one use this mode and why?hoping someone more wiser than this old geezer knows can fill me in,so to speak, not litterally mind you.bye for now, blowfly.

Trash density high is supposed to be one of the e tracs plus points for helping find
objects hidden in trash.
I did some testing while running it a while back.
I did notice it will miss small targets if you are sweeping very slowly..It will give a signal on them if you sweep over them fairly fast.
I don't know why this is,but usually in trash i am sweeping very slowly.
And by small i am meaning about the size of your small fingernail.
Find something that size or a little smaller and test on it to see what i mean.
The object i was experimenting with was a piece off the end of a pulltab.
Draw your own conclusions.
I am still doing some experimenting with this also.
