Hip hip hooray, no more zincons!!!

Will the copper penny now by an item that can be recycled at the scrap yard for copper prices? I have close a 100 pounds of pre-82 pennies that would sure bring more as scrap than they will at the coin counter.
You can check the mint site for what amount you can recycle. But they are t taking cents out of circulation. The mint will make more nickels and probably use a different metal. I hope the new nickel coins don’t sounds like quarters.
Today the mint pays 13 cents t9 produce each nickel so they have no choice to move to another type
