Historic Mansion hunt gives up 11 Silvers

Got permission to hunt a huge mansion that's been around since the early 1800's. Brought Dad along and we had a blast. We hunted for about 8 hours and the place was absolutely filled with pull tabs and aluminum bottle caps. Will have to go back and hit it again using a smaller coil or maybe even dig the low signals off the surface to get to the deeper stuff. I think this is one of those places we'll need to really work hard but there has to be some very old coins below the garbage. The upper finds in the photo are dad's finds for the day.

Nice silver/jewelry and like the 3 Ringer your dad found. :clapping:
Wish my Father could still hunt with me. You are a lucky guy to still have the opportunity. :)

He tried to get me to go when I was younger but I was a teen and more interested in chasing girls. Now that I'm older I understand the importance of the time spent together and now catching up on some lost years. We've been hunting a lot the last few years and I'm just thankful he can still go at age 70.

Wow talk about silver, sweet yard!

Thanks :) I think we are going to grid off a 20x20 area and dig every signal out to see what we come up with. Never seen a place with so much surface trash. How would you deal with a site like this? Would you hit it slow with smaller coils or try to dig the junk out to get to the deeper coins? Normally wouldn't even consider digging that many trash signals but this place has been heavily populated since before 1830...

Nice work! lower your gain and listen for the distant signals, they'll be the deeper targets. Good luck!

Great video, love that you give us the numbers that things are coming in at, very helpful. Thanks again:clapping:

A feature I'd like to see is the ability to slicence all signals more shallow than a certaing depth. For example descriminate out targets 4" or less so I only get a tone on 4" or deeper signals.

Congratulations on all the silver that old mansion looks like a gold mine nice work :clapping:
