I couldn't decide on which forum to put this in, so since I frequent this one the most I decided to share here.
Browsing the web tonight I happened to run across a newsprint copy of a paper in my state from the mid 1930's. Naturally, I dug around and found the source and tripped over the main page eventually. Looks like there are MANY news prints uploaded dating way way back. Not all papers are included, nor all years of said papers.
However, if one is diligent and creative enough you may find some info in a local paper that could lead you to a lost treasure, or great hunting location.
