Three weeks in England. Enjoying the history of England. Upclose and personal.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEbP2TsNpBY

This is my longest video so far, 48 minutes of non stop finds! Plus a few laughs!
Great for a cool windy Sat afternoon.
Enjoy!
Ron

Gonna watch this one today Ron.

I can't wait to head over there next year with you!!

I'm not even finished watching yet and I'm in awe!!

You guys had a phenominal trip!! Unbelievable really. Cant wait for the opportunity to go myself. Thank you for the video and taking us along. Very well made. HH Joe

i have just sat riveted to the screen that was one hell of a trip guys so pleased that you got it on video yes one gold but to find one gold after another it must have been mind blowing thanks for sharing the experience

Well, viewing your video was mesmerizing
you all seemed to have so much fun
I'm surprised you were so successful since you were all over recording
I have many questions and hope you will respond

What company do you use and have you used them every year you have detected in England?

Do you get to take your finds home with you after screening or must they be mailed?

If there are gold coins found and they get mailed through the post are they then in jeopardy of being stolen in transit?

How do you recharge your batteries at the end of the day for the next day of detecting?

What month are you detecting in the video and what are your suggestions for being prepared for the weather?

Your camera was wonderful and so impressive, what type was it?

You have long days of detecting, what recommendations would you suggest for ahunt in September for just one week?

Do you use any equipment during the hunt aside for the detector and probe?

I will be visiting England in September for almost two weeks but will be detecting for only one of those weeks and could use any advice form someone who has done it so often and learned the hard way.

I am also amazed you all were able to take three weeks for you adventure.

Thank you

I run these through Colchester Trearure hunting, for 7 years now

Finds must be left for export paperwork which takes about 2 to 3 months, you can pick them up on a future trip or have them mailed

If there are gold coins found and they get mailed through the post are they then in jeopardy of being stolen in transit?
Any gold items found should be brought back personally, even If I had to bring them back for someone.

How do you recharge your batteries at the end of the day for the next day of detecting?
I only use regular batteries when in england, chargers can go bad of fry at any time

What month are you detecting in the video and what are your suggestions for being prepared for the weather?
I hunt for 3 weeks in the spring (end of march)Current video and 3 weeks in the fall (beginning of Oct) Good waterproof boots and rain gear and a posative attitude no matter what the weather.

Your camera was wonderful and so impressive, what type was it?
Sanyo, xacti duel waterproof HD camera Mine is green

You have long days of detecting, what recommendations would you suggest for ahunt in September for just one week?
Workout a couple months prior to the hunt squats and deep knee bends and walk

Do you use any equipment during the hunt aside for the detector and probe?
If you have trouble swinging for 10 hours get a swingy thingy

dig every repeatable target above iron. Some of the small hammered silver are quite low silver content and come in like foil. Don't cherry pick dig all good targets above iron!

I am also amazed you all were able to take three weeks for you adventure.
I do this twice a year. My wife is a Saint!

Thank you

Makes my mouth water just watching, very nice detecting by you and your group and Thank You very much for the great video.

HH Rick
