You have me beaten Lisa but all things do come to an end sooner or later and mine has! May God Bless you with many more years of good health and happiness to keep on, keepin' on! Amen! Ma Betty

I enjoy:

Reading- magazines that I am subscribed to, classics such as "A Tale of 2 Cities", and historical books (gotta find the time to read US Grant's memoirs).

Coin collecting- mostly engaged in newer sets such as atb, presidential dollars, anything else new and cheap the gov comes out with.

Hiking- Used to hike almost every Saturday with the TTA (Tennessee Trails Association), but since moving to CA haven't had the motivation to do so. I need a group to hike with I guess, but out here in CA there aren't any good hiking groups. If you live in or near Tennessee and like hiking check them out. A great bunch of people who hike beautiful TN!

Photography- don't do a lot right now, but if I had the money to buy a dslr, I just might.

Wow! Those are some beautiful pictures, Doug! I really enjoy going to Cades Cove. Wish I had someone to WALK it with me instead of driving it. I've wanted to walk it for years.

Lisa

Ma, I have always been a collector of things too. Little trinkets and bigger things too. None of it really worth anything, it's just things I like or that I find to be unusual or cool. I'm about out of room to house it all! Like you, I need to start de-collecting! I, too, have some rocks & fossils. :)

Ever do any hiking on the Appalachian Trail when you were living in Tennessee? I've done some section hiking on it in Tennessee and in North Georgia. I live in Alabama and there has been talk for several years about extending it from North Georgia on into Northeast Alabama (not too far from where I live), but it looks like "talk" is all we ever get. Other than the AT, the only hiking I have done in TN is on many of the trails in and around the Smokey Mountains.

Count me in, Mike! For the most part, none of my family is too interested in the things I like. I usually end up doing them with my cousin, a friend, or alone.

Never have seen an oil lamps made out of a Mason Jar, Travis! That sounds interesting and cool. I knew that yall raised chickens. I could sit and watch chickens for hours! lol I know that sounds insane, but they can be very entertaining! lol

Lisa

I'm noticing that many of us have a lot of the same interests and/or hobbies. :)

Lisa
