I traded a nice detector awhile back to another Brother in Christ for a couple GPS units...not a wise move...didn't know the value of the GPS and then when the same Brother wanted to get one of them back for his Dad I gladly gave it to him (free).
I was offered to use the detector any time I wanted so just sent him a message asking to borrow it as Sherry and I will be going to the U.P. (Marquette) from Sep 2 until the 5th to celebrate our 9th anniversary together as husband and wife.
I am hoping and praying that maybe the Brother will decide to sell it back to me or maybe give it back since he doesn't use it either. One can only hope and pray. Whatever God decides in the matter will be fine with me. I keep kicking myself for trading it off to begin with...guess I was more attached to it as it served me so well for many years (over 100 rings found with it just in Lansing, MI alone).
The GPS units if I had both of them would be less than 50 bucks each.
And the detector (with carrying case and 3 coils) was/is worth much more. Hoping and praying the Brother decides he doesn't want it any more and will sell it back to me or even give it to me (a guy can dream right).
