:hot:lets see your key date coins guys!!!:hot:

Hey Dan, I'll see your 28-S SLQ and raise you a 27-D SLQ.
With less than 1 million minted, it's a decent find.
Doesn't quite qualify for a semi-key date, but not far from it.
Found last year at an old park where many have hunted before.
One of my best finds ever.

Hi all, you've posted some very nice finds:

shown are the rare/key date colonial/U.S. copper finds that I still have in my possession: 1864 L dbl date, Indian head (slabbed genuine), 1794 half cent, 1783 nova contellatio (pattern). I have also found an 1811 large cent, a 1787 fugio (federal contract cent) and a 1795 undated washington penny (pattern), all three must have been dropped about new. I sold the 1811 and the fugio cents and now regret it. The 1795 washington penny was misplaced sometime ago and i'm still looking for it (the most valuable coin I've ever found, one sold for $190,000 at an auction about three years ago. Good luck and happy hunting!

Two I'm pretty proud of!
