Seriously? Dang, thats where my family always went on vacation when I was a kid.junklord3139 said:If you go in the water , watch it , they don't call it the shark bite capital of the World for nothing. 2 bite a Day on average.
Grunter said:Hey fellas Thanks for the sharps advice. I hunted approx. a hundred yard stretch this morning at low tide and got one signal. A small piece of can slaw on the surface. This has to be the cleanest beach I've ever been on. I just must be in the wrong area of the beach.

I thought maybe around the Hyatt or the Holiday Inn beach might produce a better chance at finding some bling. I love old coins but I do like the bling also. Do they allow hunting in the county park at Ponce? How about the recreational parks and state parks? Do you know anyone that gets to hunt the racetrack? I'm thinking that after the Rolex 24 you just might be able to find one there. Anyway today was probably my worst day yet,if I can't hit at least a pennys worth of clad it hasn't been much of a hunt. My least amount of finds to date was a 2 penny day some months back. Concrats on the clad finds, it adds up. Are there any good detector stores around the area? Do you run a 30/30? My hunting partner back home in Va. hunts with an Etrac and is considering a 30/30. I'm currently running an ATPRO and a DFX.
