How deep can a Ace 150 and a 250 air test a dime ??

I should add that with the above results, I tried to test with about a 3 feet per second swing. May redo the test and try it with about a 2 foot per second swing.

Just tried another test of swing speed. I thought there should be a difference between about a 3 foot per second swing compared to about a 2 foot per second swing, but there was very little difference. Maybe 1/4" less on the 2 foot swing. On the 1 foot per second swing test it was about 3/4" less. Don't know how this will relate to swinging over soil.

Oh, when I first started this test, the detector was acting weird. Beeping and the indicator moving all over the scale and on max sensitivity a dime would only signal on 8 1/2 - 9". Couldn't figured it out. All of a sudden it started going crazy beeping more and the indicator all up and down the scale. About 2 seconds later my cell phone rang and it was within about 3 1/2 feet of the coil. After turning the cell phone off everything returned to normal. It does make a big difference if your cell phone is on while detecting.
