How Did That End Up Here?

Yep how did a 1 Pice Pakastani coin end up in a farmyard in Southern Ohio? Well we will never know but I did dig it last Saturday. Doug, Diane and I went door knocking got two no's and two yes's. First house we were told had been hunted at least 5 times but the nice gentleman said go ahead and have a go. Doug took two steps and hit on a good signal that turned out to be a whipped 1917 Merc and just a few steps more another signal that we videoed as a full dig, which turned out to be a 1960 Rosey. Diane and I had gotten a wheat apiece and after that not much. Doug did get an Indian in the back yard while amongs a ton of iron I got the signal 7-40 which turned out to be the Pakistani coin. The second house did give up a couple of wheats but that was all.

Maybe someone brought the coin back from a trip overseas as a souvenir years ago - gave it to a family member, friend or child - and the coin was dropped where you found it ?

I don't know if they are still offering foreign coins in kids comic books or treasure story type magazines or not, but...... you used to be able to send 10 cents in for an assortment of old foerign coins. Perhaps this is just one of those coins from the set.......NGE
