How goofy is this find?

He's something unusual--I guess--unusual for me anyway. It read a solid 10-39 one direction, and a solid 11-39 in the other. What is it? It's a 1975 D penny that has been solidly fused to a melted aluminum can. It came from a 1870's town site that was briefly re-occupied in the late 1970's.

Maybe the next pennies will be copper plated aluminum? Neat find. I probably would have ignored it thinking it was a zincoln.
