How is the Etrac with EMI?

Currently have an Omega8000, which I love and have had lots of luck with. The one thing that bothers me a lot about it is that it is VERY sensitive to EMI. Almost anytime I get near a power line I get tons of interference, sometimes to the point of turning sensitivity down below 50% or even giving it up as a useless act of futility. Thinking about ponying up the money for an Etrac, but want to make sure that I wont have a problem with constant interference.

I have both detectors and the etrac seems like it is not bothered at all. I had both detectors out the other day and I could only get the sens to around 50 tops because of the emi on the omega. I put it away and used the etrac with no problems at all. The etrac does not false on bottlecaps for me when I am using disc settings. They will on the omega. They both seem to get good depth but the etrac runs a lot smoother.

I live near Jefferson City. Maybe we can hit a few parks once you get here and the weather gets nice again.
