How is the recovery time on the Explorer SE?

I have a Sovereign GT and am used to going slow with it but I don't like to when I can grab my T2 and swing faster and find as much. So, I am used to both slow and fast recovery machines but I am wondering about the SE and am thinking about adding one to my arsenal. I don't want one if the recovery time is a slow as on the GT though. Also, I wonder if the SE is any better than the T2 in the field.
What about the SE...

Thanks,

Julien

I don't know about your T2 but my X5 can pound some ground if thats what you want.
The SE is no T2 or X5 in the field BUT, if I cut my speed in half theres no problem. When you hit a hot spot you slow down with any machine.

Hello julien,

I have both the T-2 and SE, Both are excellent relic detectors and both operate extremely well in trashy areas.

The recovery speed on the SE is very fast, Not as quick as the T-2 but can hold it's own. The T-2 will get the smaller tiny conductive targets missed by the Explorer and the T-2 is subject to less masking, But the SE is an exceptional detector geared more as an all-purpose detector.
