Ok,
How many after they first got an x1 probe,at some time or another was detecting,
and was trying to figure out all the weird signals,only to figure out you forgot to flip your switch back to your coil.

I admit it ,I did it.

I've done that. lol. I'll be walking and getting decent signals I can't find because they're coming from my pants pocket...every time the probe goes near it.

I do it all the time! I was building a program for relics with my Etrac the other day and I could not get it to accept or reject correctly. Duh.....probe was on.

did it multiple times, & felt really stupid not hearing noise for 10 minutes or so & realizing the switch is in the wrong position.

Yes Guilty. But not so much now that i got in the habbit of flipping the switch before i put the probe in the holder.( ok once in awhile i still screw up)

I Was at a rally Over the weekend, came across a nice signal, started to pinpoint it, Then dug a plug, quick swing and it was still in the plug, then others started pass me by and was a bit too close for my liking, Im still trying to pinpoint this signal, and was getting a bit peed off because others were too close and was causing me to hear all sorts o noises, I was about to let rip with a few choice words, only to look down and saw the switch flicked to probe lol, i was picking the Coins up that was in my pocket, Haha. Its not the 1st, and wont be the last. Good job i didnt say anything to em eh!!!!
