How many metal detectors.........

I currently own one detector. I have a Tesoro Tejon and use it for relic hunting. My first machine was a Relco Frontiersman and that was about 1971. Have probably owned 25 since then. Tejon is a must have for the deep relics, especially in damp or wet soil. However, I do need a second machine for coin hunting, need something with target ID. Sold my Minelab Exploreer II last year to buy a White's DFX, sold that because did not like it at all. Considering either a Tesoro Cortes or maybe a Minelab Xterra 70 for coin hunting. Saw my first Garrett ACE 250 yesterday and it looked like a toy to me

we now have 3 extras,, I found a guy in a town just near here that had 3 old detectors, one deep seeker,, one ground hog ,,and one old D TEX,, so with the ace the ,1350,, and the chinese rubish thing,, we have 6 detectors and 2 pro pointers,, will put some pics up of the old detectors to tell the cool story about how I got them,,

I love my Relco Pacesetter I bought back in 1972. I wouldnt give it away for anything because it is the best trash detector ever made..I am kidding of course..I traded it years ago for A Garrett Groundhog. now thats a great detector.. I have a Tesoro Cutlass now that I just found.. Had one years ago.I currently am wanting an ace 250 or a 150 if it uses the same circuit board. Lloyd

I've owned my Infinium for a couple of years and love the unit. I've found quite a few nuggets with it, (2 patches), however, it does not come close to the performance of the GPX 4000. In all honesty I believe I would've only found about 4 or 5 of these same nuggets with the Infinium. The count for nuggets found with the GPX now totals 25. Also today I found what I thought was 7 nuggets (small) in the same hole. I took them to Coiltec because they were so wierd looking. Their in acid overnight to test them. I hope they are gold as the count will go to 32! I'm not bagging the Infinium as it does everything it's advertised to do

Why do even you compare the best it is with the best Garrett can offer.
Did you even used the same coil size and coil configuration for this exercise ?
Infiniun has only 4 coils GPX can use hundreds.
Take your GPX to the beach and let see if you will be brave enough to put it on the sand while digging.
Last time I've looked at Minelab on Ebay GPX4500 went for US $10,200.00 from starting bid of $4,900.00( retail price) Item number: 300367674125
As for Infinium there is now one on Ebay new one (dealer demo) with price tag US $879.00 -Buy it now. Item number : 370295694284 with one day to go and no takers.
This perhaps explain it all
GPX4500 can find 0.04 gram nugget this i've seen, infinium will be pushing to see 0.3 gram
I do own Infinium as well and and go to the goldfields only few times a year but the rest of the year it lives on the beach.
