I had a few free minutes yesterday evening and decided to hunt for a few minutes in my front yard...heck, better than nothing, right? Well, under the tree in my front yard I found this religious metal. It is heavy and may be silver, missing a few of the fake diamonds. I have no idea who could have lost it in our front yard. While we often think that our yards are hunted out, we can still find interesting things. One of the members of this Forum, BJ in Oklahoma, found a Indian Head penny in his front yard last year. When you only have a few minutes to spare, grab the MXT and hunt your own yard, or even a neighbor's yard...you might be surprised at what you find. Kelley (Texas)

In my best friends yard, I had found a broken skate buckle from our metal skates and then two bottle caps, one Orange Crush and another fruity soda pop drink and I know those two were from Linda and I when we were young. We must have laid them down and ran off playing. Larry even found my old mood ring from the early 70's in a neighbors yard. Needless to say, the town never grew. Abraham Lincoln had practiced law at a nearby town at the court house and then the county seat moved shortly after that. Thanks for the memories and there's more to come out of that little town.
