I have been looking at the E-trac since it came out. The one feature that keeps my attention is the ability to exchange programs with others. Though I can readily see that Program "X" pattern might not work the same in Texas vs. New York, due to mineralizations, smog (just kidding Yanks) or other factors, it would theroretically work in the same area.....possibly.
The other positives in my mind are that the processor speed is significantly higher than either my XS or my main machine, EXII. As long as machines keep developing signal process speeds which increase, recovery over co-located items should improve.
Back on point however, the question is.....how many of you use the exchange program to gain patterns? Do you do so regularly? Or is it a first time use of the machine sort of thing? I can see, because I travel sometimes as an insurance adjuster, that new places would justify the ability to gain locally produced pattern settings.....
Finally, is the transfer of settings include sensitivity settings, or is it just "Accept or Reject" patterning?
Thanks guys n girls....in advance
Dennis
