Here's a number of things to take into consideration when purchasing Garrett Products.

thanks for the posting that. Been thinking about purchasing a pro-pointer. Now I know what to look for.

This problem is getting BAD! I had a customer call me with a several issues recently and we could not figure it out until he said he bought it on fleabay/ebay. He bought a fake and it never would work right out of the box. I felt bad for the guy.

I did that while I was looking at a garrett pro pointer, called garrett and asked them to verify a serial number. They have #1 costumer service

there is a ton of fake garrett products on that auction site. I am puzzled as to why Garrett does not complain to the company about all the fakes. If i can spot them then Garrett should be able to do so. I have tried reporting the fakes but E-Bay usually ignores my reports.
