I came across this forum on the internet. You can say that I am trying my hand at metal detection. One of the old houses in our locality, when it was broken down for building new one, had close to 7 kgs of Gold jewellery.
Recently my grandmother told us a tale of treasure, buried in our old house. The house is around 150 years old with 8-10 feet wide clay walls. The floor is adobe bricks with quite a few underground rooms and couple of wells. Just to satiate her curiosity and ours, I had try to look for it.
India has a history of hidden things in wells and underground rooms. I was looking for instruments to search for stuff in such a setting. But most of the stuff that I came across was for parks and beaches. What kind of equipment should I be looking for? Any pointers had be welcome.
