Have you ever noticed that when storing your dug bullets in a baggie or jar, they seem to get all dusty and powdery? I have found that the best way to prevent the lead oxide from flaking and powdering off is to coat the bullets with Renaissance Wax. This is the same method I use to preserve brass and leather items. I have had a lot of success in using this method. I put a video together, mostly because it is too cold to dig and I am bored! But it gives me time to go through my old bags-o-bullets and apply the wax to keep them in a museum-quality state of preservation.
