went to a 1950's elementary school on a quest for gold.....again, and failed....lol
I dug every signal for 3+ hours, if there was gold there I was going to get it!

However I did get one lawn mower hit 194? silver rosie dime, can't see last number in date, and 5 more wheats, oldest was 1919, and about $2.50 in clad. So I feel it was still a good day. That makes silver coin #39 for the season.

we don't have any beaches, only swimming spots are inside pools at YW, and YMCA.........so elementary schools is where I see a lot of people posting they find rings at, all the tot lots in my town are picked clean, I have picked them clean even of the smallest foil....lol
Not sure, but I guess no one is loosing gold where I am going because the amount of can slaw and pull tabs I dig shows me other guys are not digging the trash so they are not getting the gold either.

I am sure you have seen my posts, last season and this season I have looked hard for gold. Giving it my best try, that is all I can do

it is ok, I am thrilled to get silver anyday of the week!

I guess you will need to hunt new places to hunt for the gold! Junior High and HighSchool usually have some rings and other jewelry to find while detecting! I have found quite a few at the Junior High Schools near me, but haven't been out for quite some time and probably others are hunting them, too, like all the places I've been to in the last few years! Hope you find some gold soon and good luck in your training education for a new job! :) God Bless! Betty
