Went to a school and got 8.68 clad and 2 silver rings

I would say you are learning the equinox just fine!! Sweet silver rings!!
 
The larger ring has the 925 but has the face of a Indian and the little one has 2 J one is up side down. Don't now what that means.
 
Two Silver rings.!! That's a Win Win..!!
