Hunted curbs all day, and boy did it PAY OFF BIG TIME!

was running out of places to hunt so I suggested to Denny (kozyman) that we would hunt curbs today, he agreed, so glad he did

first curb we did he got a wheat and a 1923 merc. I got 4 wheats, and the silver ring. Next curb was clad for both of us.......then we came across this old house with a new sidewalk in front, dirt was still churned up all over along sidewalk, we pulled over and started to hunt.

Denny got a 1906, and 1907 barber dimes, then I got the 1937 buffalo, wheats were here and there. I found the crucifix, the keys, odds and ends. Then 1" down out popped the awesome shape 1887 indian.

I finally got a silver for the day and it was a decent shape merc dime, I could not read the date as I never rub silver coins, so I put it in my little bottle of water and continued hunting. When we were all down I opened my bottle of water and took out the merc dime, I saw the date.....1916
my heart started pumping, I slowly flipped the coin over and saw a mintmark........I about fainted....lol

I looked real close and it was an "S"...........NO...NO!!!!!!!
Oh so close, and it is in great shape too!

Denny also got a 1943 walking liberty half dollar, it was a great day for both of us! everything below is my finds
