Hunting in the mountains

steve in so la

the White Mountain resort area that is. We spent the last 4 days there - about 4 hours and 25 degrees away. How nice & cool it was !
Anyway, I dug about 200 coins, a skinny silver ring and set a new record for live bullets from one site. Three were within 1 foot of each other and the 4 th was about 20 ft away. These 4 came from an elementary school play things area.

I imagine your back hurt oft you from all of that weight , that is alot of coins.

I thought you meant deer hunting! :)
Just kidding. Looks like a good time!

In this day and age I probably shouldn't be surprised but bullets in a children's play area? That's almost unbelievable. Just imagine if a child had found them by mistake? Thanks Steve for digging them up, disposing of them and making the children's area safe again.

Just looking at that pile makes my back hurt!!

Nice little pile of finds that you brought back to the desert Steve.

I haven't found any in a while, but I've picked up quite a few from the beach.... Really scary when you find them in a playground.

Must have been nice digging where it was 25 degrees cooler! What was it down to? 85 degrees? :)

Not too bad here after a COMPLETE month of rain in June. I thnk there were only 4 or 5 days when it didn't rain.... something like that. Not much detecting for me :(

Joe - Was about 87 for the highs. We sure could use some rain in the desert, life just doesn't even out for all :( Steve
