Hunting Small Town Parks

Here are my finds from my last few park hunts this week. These parks have been hunted hard. I had a bit of luck and found some silver coins. The best one is a 1908D Barber dime in very nice condition. Also found four Indian Head cents (1883, 1890, 1893 & 189:geek:, two Mercs (1918D & 1919), two silver Rosies (1954 & 1960D) and a sterling silver heart pendant and two rings. I was hunting with the 10x12 sef butterfly coil on my E-trac. This coil did a great job hunting trashy sites. I'm still liking it a lot and use it much more than the stock Pro coil. Happy Hunting! Dan

Man Dan. It's a rare day when the the silver and the indians outnumber the wheaties. I still can't believe it. You better tighten your pattern up to just accept 12-39-43!!!!

Thanks for posting your video! Congratulations on a very good hunt!! I haven't been able to go all week and I needed my OHIOCOINHUNTER fix!!! Appreciate it!!

Thanks for the comments, Everybody! Your finds inspire me to get out there and hunt. If I can give back a little of what you've given me, then I'm happy. It's always fun to learn about the history of our finds. I did a little research and discovered one of the rings I found is an Odd Fellows ring. They are a fraternal group that started in England in the 1700's and they are still around today. The letters F.L.T. stand for Friendship, Love & Truth.

Very nice coinage from hunted hard parks. You're getting really good at knowing what's in the ground now. It's a great feeling!
