i went to a local archeology day at a lincoln college and took a piece of very old pottery for identification the lady in charge started asking if i had had my land looked at as she knew it had a kiln on it and asked if they could bring some students i had to hire one of those toilet booths and then they arrived on monday. the main man has his own company geo phizzing it is like a piece of equipment that is taken along the gronnd on a course set out by the orerator it is fixed by a line to a computer and each time it is put on the ground it takes a reading and maps what is underneath so when the computer is plugged in when they get back to base it will print out a piece of paper and show the walls and any anomalies underground so really looking forward to the results as they have gone straight over two pieces of limestone i have found with my metal detector as they have some sort of old lead pipe going through them very thrilled as i was able to get out on a makeshift table some of my best finds and talk to the group about them which was amazing one of the young men from america thought the petrified pear was cooool that made everyone laugh they liked holding the roman coins and looking in the book i had there for the dates and altogether it was a GREAT DAY the students also had a go at water dowsing with rods and then we spent some time and took them to see my white rhea my alpacas and my emu they have come for a six week visit and have one week left how amazing for these young people hope they enjoyed it as much as i did i hope you have a great time when you come to england WHOOOOPEE
