I have been a Sovereign user since 1995.
All of my Sovereigns through the years have done everything I need a detector to do.
I have dabbled in just about every top end machine for years and never was impressed enough to make a jump from my Sovereign GT to another machine.
However, the Equinox 800 seems to fit it my needs on paper. If the Equinox is as good as I have the feeling it will be, I will most likely Get an Equinox 800 right off the bat.

I am getting 2 straight away as soon as they come. I am 2nd and 3rd at the shop i get my stuff from.
 
Jason, I'm with you. I have had a "love hate relationship" with every FBS model I have owned. I loved the performance but hated the weight. If it is as stable and accurate as the FBS detectors, I will be ecstatic.

im thinking this is the 1 ive been waiting for for 40 years in the hobby :super:
