I found a 1899 Barber Half dollar,a 1940's something wheatie and a big sterling silver mens ring thia afternoon.I was using the 5.3 coil in an area full of nails. The Barber was 2 inches deep.I didn't detect long as I spent most of my time helping my lady friend learn the DFX.She found a bunch of wheaties, clad and a very ornate silver/onyx womans ring. She got an 8 inch deep nickel signal.I thought "Oh Boy it's a V nickel or Buffalo nickel" Wrong !! It was a 8 inch deep 1964 Jefferson nickel. What a shock.I may hit the playgrounds tomorrow for a little gold jewelry hunting.I need a gold fix.

Congratulations and good luck Bill.
