That is as bad as the people playing Farmville on facebook and spending hundreds of millions of real dollars, on bits. Some set their alarms to water their imaginary artichokes and such. These are ADULTS without a life.

I like Facebook but if someone sends me an invitation to that crap I block them from then on. What has become of our world :(

the result of a long term scheme or plan or did it jist happen to turn out this way.
I do not subscribe to the latter.

i flat out aint into people that do games.
There's jist somethin seriously lackin in the grey matter dept. :lmfao:

I have to so that facebook thing tho coz right now it's my
only contact with my son over seas.( his choice)

a person has to be mighty careful what they put on there, consider it all open information but I have been able to make contact with people I had not seen or talked to for 38 years. I worked with these guys back then and it is fun catching up. I see Ray and Jim on there :D and he is a hoot but it is surely not for everyone. I have seen a few others I have met on these forums too.

I resisted it for a long time but three of my grandkids asked me to be there friends on there. Good way to watch they do not get in trouble :D I thought, what the heck and joined. I started being contacted by old friends and in turn contacted some I had wondered about over the years. Funny how old they have gotten and I have not changed a bit. Except for the grey hair, wrinkles, half bald head and the hundred pounds I have put on since grade school. Yes, some I have met there were friends back in 56-57. Yes I enjoy it and find it interesting and some times fun but it only takes up maybe 15-20 minutes a day.

Works for me

it is extremely popular and free if you talk computer to computer, world wide. Both of you have have it installed on your computers and have a high speed connection. It even does video. You can call phones, as I do, for about 30-35 bucks a year and that is unlimited US and Canada. I just used it to talk to Wayne in BC a couple minutes ago and also Mike in BC. I called their phones.

I use it for ALL my long distance from my home here in Roscommon. http://www.skype.com/intl/en/get-skype/on-your-computer/windows/

I have talked to Ray with it. He has it on his PC but I can not get him to turn it on :D Maybe it is because the first time I talked to him with it he forgot I could see him and he took out his teeth and it looked like he put in a Chaw  I told him to put his dang teeth back in when he was talking to me. We had a good laugh over that.

It has great sound and video.

I think i need to git me a new webcam first also.

the cam he bought from Wally world cost him 20 bucks. It is super easy to set up and works great. It ain't perfect but I have not had a bad call in months and I use every day.
