I had 2 firsts on my 2nd hunt this morning. I asked and received permission to hunt my first private property. It's an old school in my area. Was built in 1904 and last used as a school in 1962. The gentleman who owns it was very nice and gave me all access to the grounds. He said it has been hunted before. I told him lets see what the Ace 250 can find that the "others" didn't. It was my third target. An indian head penny, my first. I nearly jumped out of my skin. It is the oldest coin to date that I have found. I can't make out the date right but I looked up I.H. cents and saw that there were last maed in about 1909. My next oldest coin is a 1942 half silver walking liberty. Needles to say I will be going back. I also found a dime there from 2003. Thanks for looking.

Some good finds. Could be more great items in that old school yard.

Congrats on the indian head. I'm still looking for my first.

Thanks to all for your kind words. I am so looking forward to getting back to the site. :garrett::thumbup:

Nothing like a IH to brighten your day! I like silver but I get a better feeling rooting out a Buff, V or IH. It also shows your hunting the way your supposed to! Dig,Dig,Dig!
