I had 2 firsts on my 2nd hunt this morning. I asked and received permission to hunt my first private property. It's an old school in my area. Was built in 1904 and last used as a school in 1962. The gentleman who owns it was very nice and gave me all access to the grounds. He said it has been hunted before. I told him lets see what the Ace 250 can find that the "others" didn't. It was my third target. An indian head penny, my first. I nearly jumped out of my skin. It is the oldest coin to date that I have found. I can't make out the date right but I looked up I.H. cents and saw that there were last maed in about 1909. My next oldest coin is a 1942 half silver walking liberty. Needles to say I will be going back. I also found a dime there from 2003. Thanks for looking.
