I Got to run a CTX 3030 today in a trashy park.

The first thing I noticed was the great balance it felt great easy to swing the second was the sound I don't know how to describe it but I would call it a smoother sound loved it. It also seamed like it would lock onto a target better. Cant weight to get mine. from what I have seen so far Minelab has done a great job again.

That's exactly what I have found clear smooth sound and awesome target separation. I took the CTX to a highly mineralized garden spot that has always been a problem to detect. I ground balanced it and the the detector ran smooth. I was able to pull out a 1929 Tomas Edison token in a area that had been unhuntable.
