I just wiggle coil over target and pull back, when signal stops the coin will be directly under front lip of coil. Works so much quicker for me and always right on!

I do this but add one more step,,,,, when the signal quits just nudge forward till you hear it again,,,,, the target is right under the "X" on the coil (where the two loops cross each other)
