Today Goio, Silvergurl, TMan, & I met up for hunt and we all walked away with silver!!! Everyone found something they won't soon forget!!! Goio found a perfect 1874 IH (worth some $$$), TManfromTexas found his 150th silver for 2009, and SilverGurl found her very 1st silver coin - A 1895o BARBER QUARTER!!! I have been dirt fishin for about a year and a half and the oldest silver I have found was a 1900 Barber quarter and she goes on her 5th hunt and beats the tar outta me... (Way to go babe!!!) This is my 2nd SLQ for the year and my 3rd since I started last year. So far I have found an 1918d, 1919, & a 1920!!! All of mine are early and we lost shortly after they were minted, I figured that I would find a couple but that they would be "no-date" ones - boy was I wrong!!! Today's SLQ can sell for a bit of change if I was so inclined. Here are my finds for the day. Be sure to watch the video to see everything that happened.

That is one of the nicest SLQ's I've ever seen...my favorite quarter! Congrats.

Good friends, beautiful day, everyone finds silver,
great video.......life is good!!! :beers:
Congratulations Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

Congrats to your hunting buddies...especially SilverGurl.
Nothin like getting thumped by a lady bro:bouncy:...just kiddin' buddy...I know you are stoked for her. Pretty nice way to break into the silver coin finds...with the first being an oldie like that.

Gotta love them High Grade Standers......especially the early ones! Also, the 1910 Wheatie is most likely an S Mint Mark. There was no D for that year which also makes that Coin a good find also. I've only found 1 1910-s so there a toughy to find. Congrats on the finds and WTG to Silvergurl:super: for kickin' some butt with her Ace 250 and finding that Barber Quarter. And to the others with their great finds including the 1874 Indian Head, Congratulations on them finds as well. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you all on your next hunt.:detecting:
