use a wooden walker !
most were right on top or near the surface , just hidden , all I had to do was scratch the surface ....I was only at a sensitivity of 6....only 3 inches for one coin was the max depth...
a 45 co on the etrac for a stinking copper penny.

There were plenty of fresh dug holes out in the park in the grassy areas.....some uncovered .....so I posted on let's talk about pinpointing....maybe the hunter will see it and improve his digging a little. Everyone stays away from digging the stone driveways around a park.
I already have enough competition...don't want anymore....I know what you mean...LOL!
Even a Flat grassy surface will trip you !...
