I hunted a picnic grounds

In operation since the 1930's and still being used. When I asked permission the manager said "A guy was coming here on and off for about a year, so I don't know if you'll find anything" Well, this has to be the toughest place I have ever tried to hunt. There are 70 years of bottlecaps and pulltabs in the ground. Since I was using the 5" coil I was able to pull out a few that the other guy must have had masked by junk. Each of these silver had at least 3 bottlecaps within an inch all around above and below.
Using digtal I watched for a 00-29 or 03-28, when it flashed for a split second along with the junk signals I dug it. I wish the bottlecaps didn't sound like silver, it sure would make hunting here easier. I will spend a lot of time here, I love the challenge!

pays big dividends if you have the patience. That's what I have been doing for the last month or so. Great finds.

Nice half, did you try selecting out bottle caps and hunt all metal otherwise?

At least you know that the Silver is there still and chances for more of the Bigger Silver also. I wish you the best of Luck and HH at that Fantastic Site you found.
