the ones that come from the factory 'worked', like the Kimbers or the Gold Cups.
You are gonna experience 'issues' with even the good ones right out o' the box.
Unless you luck into the right combination of mag, ammo, springs etc.,
they will require some tuning.
Some shooters go into thier choice and purchase simply unaware that most .45's,
most autos for that matter, will require some tuning. They jist aren't wheel guns.
Some of your 'base' out o' the box .45's, like the Series 70, Auto Ordnance,Mil spec 1911's,
are great platforms for inexpensive upgrades to make them 'reliable'.
The Para Ordnance is NOT one of them .
Heck, i recently purchased a Springfiled GI-45, ( an American icon)
and i found it to be JUNK right out o' the box.
I didn't know at the time of purchase that the frame was made in Brazil.
I could git rid of it fast enough.
I traded it towards a used SIG P-220
Mmmm...now i have to go git it out and touch it.
