I just grabbed up an hand full out of my jar a few years ago for a post. I just ran across it and thought you might like to see it. A friend of mine had a hunt in Va a few years ago and needed some silver for a kids hunt and I sent him 60+ silver coins for the kids to find. Some were halves. My fun, as with most, is the hunt and finding. After that they are just things.

Some o' those "things" look to be in pretty good condition too

I recall bein one o' those "kids" Royal.
My grampap worked fer Fisher Scientific and every year they held a huge
family picnic at one o' our big county parks.
One o' the 'games' for the kids was a huge( at least i recall it that way lol)
pile o' saw dust. We kids could go into it and dig for silver dollars.
The most finds got a prize er somethin'.

Mmm.....wonder if any of 'em were left behind ?
