Thanks for the help the members gave to help set up my new nox800.
Went to the usual winter beach today, usual finds fishing weights coins and sum junk then a good signal jumping between 18-20 a about 1ft down out came a large man's signet ring, after getting home checked it it weighs 12gms and is 18kt, so a couple of small changes made a big difference.
So thanks again.

Nice congrats on the finds I’ve found 3 gold rings one was a 12 gram 14k with my nox all were this year it’s a great machine some people say it’s nothing special I beg to differ it’s all I use now,
Mark

Congratulations, that’s a terrific find!

Did it sound like gold? Or did it ring up the penny sound?

In one direction it only gave a standard tone but in the other it gave what I call the classic tone which I call Da Da Da Da as you run it under the coil.
