Gentleman - that is Long Island, NY surf conditions on a regular day......2-5' breakers about 10-15 feet off the shoreline.
now with today and tomorrow's mini nor'easter - we are expecting 10+' swell.
maybe it will move some of the sand off - it has been target dead here for days.

Gotta beat the usual vultures....
The early vulture gets the gold.
Low tide today at 5:27pm - I'll give it a spin with NE 15-20 kt with up to 30 kt gusts - 5-8' seas
Tomorrow - 25-30kt up to 35kt - 9-12' seas
I will be on the low tide line and will be out of the water...

Sometimes just got to take the hunting time when you can get it. Glad you all got out ... I was stuck doing battle in the office.

I guess I'm glad it didn't work out seeing the weather there now. Went to Gulf for 2 weeks instead. It was Sunny and a blazing 91 at Pensacola Beach today! I was there around 5 AM and saw the sun come. I called it quits around 11:30.

Only a True Pirate would endure these conditions....Great Hunt Max......Obn/tim/joe

In VB for vacation this week showed up with the record 4 1/2 inches of rain on Tues. got out today at low tide and found just shy of 2 bucks in clad and one of those peace charms that MAX found. It isn't earth shattering but it beats. being at work. I was surprised at how many folks were out at 0530hrs......I saw at 8 other hunters at one point and no less than 3 at any given time. but there is alot of beach. I only covered about 1 blocks worth between 10Th and 11Th street. looking forward to tomorrow.........happy hunting all!
